ABOUT VIRU KESKUS
Shopping center Viru Keskus opened its doors to visitors on April 15, 2004. It was thoroughly renovated in 2014 along with an upgrade of the brand portfolio and now has launched the greatest renovations in its history to give a new look and contents to the centre. There are over a hundred shops and service points in Viru Keskus. In addition to high quality fashion goods you can find there a food street with a unique concept in Estonia including 15 restaurants and cafés, a bookshop awarded the title of the best in the world, the largest beauty and jewellery area in Estonia and the IV floor completely dedicated to beauty services, and also the largest pharmacy in Estonia.
International fashion brands and retail concepts are represented in Viru Keskus, like American Vintage, Massimo Dutti, Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Jeans, Max&Co, Marc O`Polo, Marella, Ballzy, adidas Original, Nike, Aldo, Ecco, The Body Shop, Pandora, Goldtime, Euronics, Sportland etc. Customers can also find three most important Worlds in Viru Keskus: Beauty World, Food World and Women’s World.
Speaking about services visitors can find in Viru Keskus a tailor, a shoemaker, a goldsmith, a mobile phone repair shop and several beauty and health services both separately and in shops.
On the third and fourth floor of the centre there is a car park for 395 vehicles with the most favourable rates in the city centre, the largest electric car charging area Viru Vooluring and a sports club MyFitness on the fifth and sixth floor. There are parking and charging areas for bicycles and scooters next to all the entrances to Viru Keskus. Under the centre there is a bus terminal with a convenient waiting area that belongs to the Tallinn Transport Department. It is the starting point of all the most important bus lines. Viru Keskus is visited by nearly 15 million visitors in a year and thus it is the most effective shopping centre in the Baltic countries and Finland.

In the autumn of 2019 Viru Keskus was awarded the LEED O&M (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) platinum certificate for the operation and management of a sustainable building that is the only one of this level in Estonia. This was preceded by the LEED O&M silver certificate in 2015. Opening the centre brought to Viru Keskus the title of the best development project of the year in 2004 and in 2006 Viru Keskus was awarded the titles of Aasta Kaubandustegu (Commercial Initiative of the year) and Aasta Teenindustegu (Service Initiative of the year). In addition Viru Keskus has won nearly 50 awards in various advertising and creative competitions.
