Another Simple Session extreme sports competition started yesterday. First, BMX riders displayed their skills in Viru Keskus and then skateboard aces took over in the evening.

The 22nd extreme sports festival Simple Session brings to Tallinn more than 100 world-class stunt cyclists and skateboard riders from nearly 30 countries competing against each other in the Simple Session park this weekend. In addition to the main programme there are also various other activities during the festival week in Tallinn for all interested fans to savour.

Before the weekend, the festival returned to its street sports roots by bringing the programme to public urban space. On Thursday, June 9, a street jam took place by the Hämarik statue next to Viru Keskus. Additional elements like a railing, ledge and Euro-cap were installed specifically for the competition on the stairs next to the statue. You could enjoy an exciting jam style competition on the stairs and the added road ride elements.

The main programme of Simple Session, qualification runs and finals take place in Põhjala factory in Tallinn on June 11 and 12.
