Entertainment park PARK’la was opened on the rooftop terrace of Viru Keskus. It has an innovative concept of providing fun sports leisure activities while offering also delicious food and drinks. One of the most special features of the site is a baseball simulation that is the first and only one in Estonia.
According to the founder of PARK’la, Mr. Siim Tukk he got the idea to open a leisure centre that provides various sports and group entertainment activities when he was travelling abroad. “We have very brief summers in Estonia, therefore you should enjoy any sunny days outdoors as much as possible,” said Mr. Tukk. “This is the largest outdoor terrace in the most central position in the city and we have collected here a large number of exciting features that you can use to have fun on your own or with friends and family.”
One of the unique features of the site is the baseball simulation that allows you to practice baseball precision hits in virtual reality. You can also try your skills in various football games, including a giant version of table football, where people enter the game to replace the usual players lined up on sticks. You can also have thrilling battles to test your precision with a great darts board that you hit with footballs instead of darts. Among many other features there is also a basketball game Four in Line, summer curling and golf game Four in Line. Many of these sports games are available for the first time in Estonia.
The entertainment park includes also a cafe serving refreshing drinks, delicious burgers, cakes and handmade ice cream.
PARK’la is open on the 4th floor rooftop area in Viru Keskus from Tuesdays to Thursdays11 am to 11 pm, on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 1 am and on Sundays from 11 am to 11 pm. It will be open until September. You can enter PARK’la through the Rahva Raamat bookshop on the 4th floor, the hallway at Estonia Avenue or the car park of Viru Keskus.
