Tallinn Music Week is a genre-crossing international music showcase that takes place in the best clubs and concert halls across Tallinn — now for the 17th spring in a row. Viru Keskus has proudly supported TMW for over ten years.
boipepperoni has played a key role in modernising the sound of contemporary Estonian pop and hip-hop.
The young artist began as villemdrillem’s go-to producer and a member of the supergroup Pitsa. His work has impressed music critics and fans alike with its rich layers and refined attention to detail. In 2023, he released his debut solo album qqndqlt. Last year, he teamed up with An-Marlen to drop a club-pop album titled Emotsionaalne elektronmuusika (“Emotional Electronic Music”).

“The most important achievement in my career so far is probably the Pitsa album.”
If Viru Keskus were a music festival, which genres would be represented?
“First of all, I have to say that Viru Keskus has a really great playlist.”
“Maybe more of a festival for slightly more abstract music.”

INGA has been part of the Estonian music scene for nine years, but she truly discovered her unique sonic identity at the end of 2023 with the release of her single “No Dog On a Leash”, which she also performed in the Eesti Laul 2024 competition. INGA’s music and vocals blend elements of R&B, pop, and electronic — a cocktail of flavours and fragrances. Her debut album “Nocturnal Orange”, released last year, is inspired by the mystique and endless possibilities of the night, while also telling stories of self-growth, love, and learning to befriend oneself.
What’s the most meaningful part of your work for you?
“The most meaningful moments are when I recognize myself in the music.”

“A good outfit equals a good mood.”
If Viru Keskus were a music festival, what genres would be represented?
“Viru Keskus would be something trendy, fresh, and stylish — like Flow Festival.
I see Viru Keskus as that perfect mix and cocktail of local and international.”
Mart Avi is a twilight samurai of sleek contemporary pop with international flair. Operating across several musical parallel universes at once, these worlds occasionally collide in a sound that is both boundary-pushing and strangely familiar.
Last late autumn, Mart Avi released a double-length album Death of Music together with Ajukaja (Raul Saaremets) — a 66-minute journey through 16 tracks, some of which trace their origins back as far as 13 years.
What’s the most meaningful part of your work for you?
“When it comes to music, it’s the listener who creates the meaning.
And that’s exactly what makes the format so rich.”

How do clothes affect the way you feel about yourself?
“Of course they have an impact. It’s not even just a matter of style.
Especially when it comes to performing — if something’s too tight or scratchy, it’s a no.”
If Viru Keskus were a music festival, what genres would be represented?
“I’d say Viru Keskus would be best described by smooth jazz, early 2000s house, and adult pop.
Viru’s got plenty of character.”
