The marketing awards collected by Viru Keskus gained notable additions at the Golden Egg marketing and advertising awards competition (Kuldmuna) organised once again by Estonian Marketing Association that took place on March 20, 2020. Viru Keskus was awarded for advertising solutions created in 2019 with 2 Golden Eggs, 3 Silver Eggs and 2 Bronze Eggs all in all and also the title of the Best Client of the year that may have been the most valuable of them all.
The highest praise was awarded to Viru Keskus’ autumn fashion campaign Virtual Fashion where we invited visitors to enjoy autumn fashions through a virtual journey. The virtual journey received a Golden Egg in the ambient advertising solution category and two Silver Eggs in the large service campaign and public marketing event categories. Our indispensable partners and team members were in this project: Taivi Koitla, Helen Kikkas-Tikerpe, agency Age Creative with a creative team including Kadrin Visse, Vladimir Loginov, Kalle Veesaar and definitely also Babahh Media who created the VR implementation. The event marketing side of this project was carried out by agency Stiilikanal.

This did not conclude the exciting awarded technological fashion experiences, because we gained recognition also for our hologram fashion show of spring 2019, winning the Bronze Egg this time. Last spring we took our visitors into a whirlwind of hologram fashion that showed fashion outlooks in living and moving holograms that ushered those interested to specific shops. For the first time in Estonia the series used hologram technology for showing fashion and it was carried out by KNM Eesti OÜ in cooperation with agency Stiilikanal, with the creative team including also Taivi Koitla, Külli Piibar, Jan Škurinski, Gerdo Kaasik and Karmo Kaasik. Up to now Viru Keskus has been the only shopping centre to use holograms in its centre in addition to classical advertising channels.

Our unforgettable Ants ma campaign, that gave an overview of the long-lasting support Viru Keskus has given to Estonian culture, was deemed worthy of the Silver Egg in the small service campaign category. We wished to highlight one of the most important Estonian painters Ants Laikmaa and use it to celebrate the centennial of the Estonian Art Museum and the location of Viru Keskus on Ants Laikmaa street. For this campaign we would above all like to express our gratitude to the Estonian Art Museum team, the creative team of agency Age Creative and our young actors and musicians who performed extremely natural portrayals of paintings by Ants Laikmaa.

As a small bonus we received the Bronze Egg for a job advertisement that we used to look for a co-thinker to join us. Age Creative helped us to shape this campaign as well from concept to solution.
