‘Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.’ This is what the writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has said. Perfection in everything, including customer services, has been an important mainstay of the brand promise of Viru Keskus and being customer centred is becoming ever more important in the current whirlwinds that shake the retail trade.
The year 2020 was no exception and in spite of the difficult circumstances Viru Keskus awarded its best service staff by focusing above all on joint service teams and the consistency of the job done. The best were selected through a measuring process that lasted the whole year, including theoretical knowledge testing and test purchases made in shops.
“In difficult times the strengths of leaders are most clearly expressed and we are very glad to see that the sales teams in Viru Keskus have such strong leaders who have found the motivation and wisdom to keep the service levels high,” said Gertti Kogermann, manager of Viru Keskus.
“We don’t just go to work, we are part of people’s lives. Our customers are our visitors and it brings us the greatest joy to be able to take part in the life of our customers for the planning of such significant events like weddings or engagements,” says Jelena Vesselovaabout her leadership principles. She is the manager of Goldtime shop that won the first prize at the competition of the best service point in Viru Keskus. Thinking about success, she continues: “Love what you do and share pure emotions with your team and your customers.”
