We have a full 50!
As many as 50 awards for marketing and advertising communication Through the years the activities of Viru Keskus have been awarded with 18 Golden Eggs, 17 Silver Eggs, 14 Bronze Eggs and also a Clear Message (Selge sõnumi) award.
Of this year’s campaigns Viru Keskus was most praised for its campaign KANNAME KULTUURI that was awarded with a Silver Egg in the small product and printed advertising categories and a Bronze Egg in the outdoor advertising category. Through the years Viru Keskus has been supporting creativity and culture and our great and dear partners are Kumu, Estonian Academy of Arts, Jazzkaar, Tallinn Music Week and other well known and respected cultural figures and also some that are only starting out, but show great promise. During these difficult times for the cultural sphere we wished to keep supporting them by offering visibility and advertising space to our great partners, and by drawing attention to the importance of supporting culture. We combined fashion and culture and passed the word. This is how KANNAME KULTUURI campaign was born with KUMU, EKA, Jazzkaar and TMW flooding the facades of Viru Keskus. In addition we also gave curated fashion layers from the assortment of Viru Keskus to four significant cultural figures in addition to cultural layers, and recorded them in a unique photographical series that was later developed into a show at Fotografiska.
AD Angels/Kärt Villmann, Kristel Sooaru, Liisi Eesmaa, Helen Kikkas-Tikerpe have contributed to the creative idea. The campaign was recorded by Kalle Veesaar and the fashion series by Riina Varol. Wearing culture was styled by Kenneth Bärlin and the culture wearers were styled by Liisi Eesmaa. Story by Marju Bakhoff. Design by Triin Heimann. The project was managed by Kristi Pedai and Annika Avikson.
The playful Christmas campaign LUMEPALLISUPLUS won this year’s Bronze Egg in the printed advertising category. After the exhausting Covid years we felt before the winter holidays that we were missing the carefree, genuine childlike joy like we once had for the first snow. That is the reason why we chose a campaign story that reflected the joy of Advent happiness, the Christmas market in the Atrium and the marvellous concerts. It was created for us by the true angels in AD Angels: creative idea by Kärt Villmann, design by Triin Heinmann, project management by Kristi Pedai and Annika Avikson, creative writing by Marju Bakhoff.
ILU JA SURMA KÜSIMUS (Question of beauty and death)
Sometimes it can happen that beauty is almost a question of life and death. Last autumn the Beauty World and Apotheka in the greatest shopping area of beauty products on our I floor went through otherworldly renovation courses and it also required a blood-curdling campaign solution that would make the whole city to whisper. The whole city started to whisper and the social media set aflutter also by the First Aid Kit for the Seductress sent to all significant beauty ambassadors with everything red necessary for beauty from a Chanel lipstick to strawberry body cream. Breaking combination!
ILU JA SURMA KÜSIMUS was chosen as one of the finalists in the printed and outdoor advertising categories. The frighteningly good idea was developed by Vladimir Loginov, the texts making your heart miss a beat were created by Maria Urb and the project was managed for dear life by Sille Tsizikova of Age Creative creative agency.
Another creation present in our house was also highlighted as one of the best works — that is the display window “The Original Playground” by artist Helen Sirp at the only Adidas Originals store in Estonia.
