The exhibition of fashion and portrait photographs created through the partnership of Viru Keskus and Jazzkaar consists of works created in two creative projects: the sharp and unique portrait of Anne Erm, the grand old lady of Estonian jazz, bursting with wisdom, captured in 2019, and a staged fashion and portrait series dedicated to the brilliant female Estonian jazz artists, completed in the autumn of 2020. The story and images of the photo series highlight talented, strong and inspiring women in an environment meant for the meeting of a creation and its audience, and for the birth of their synergy. The portraits feature four Estonian female stars – Laura Põldvere, Liisi Koikson, Kadri Voorand and Rita Ray.

The exhibition “Stars in Jazz” can be viewed in Telliskivi Loomelinnak 06.10.2020-15.01.2021 and in Viru Keskuses 18.11.2020-15.01.2021.
