On November 7, Telia will open the doors to its newest and most modern showroom in Viru Keskus, focusing primarily on environmental conservation and sustainability.
According to Gerli Hämmal, Telia’s retail manager, the new showroom embodies one of Telia’s core values: sustainability. This value is conveyed to visitors through the showroom’s product selection, the materials used, and a unique digital installation.
“This is a unique telecom showroom in Estonia, where customers can contribute even more to the green transition. We have carried sustainability as one of our significant values at Telia for many years, but it has reached our customers in various fragmented ways. In the Viru showroom, we can bring the entire field of sustainability physically and perceptually closer to our clients,” said Hämmal.
Gertti Kogermann, the manager of Viru Keskus, commented: “We are very pleased that Telia has decided to reopen its showroom at Viru Keskus after a couple of years’ absence, making its products and services conveniently accessible to people in the city center once again. It is also extremely important to us that the new store concept is thoughtfully designed with sustainability aspects in mind, both in terms of interior design and product offerings. Smart consumption is important for our center, and we are glad to see service and product providers that embody this mindset.”
The product selection at Telia’s Viru Keskus showroom will emphasize renewed smart devices, which are increasingly in demand among Estonians. For example, visitors will find a wide range of refurbished smartphones and laptops. In addition to the distinctive concept and displays, special attention has been paid to the construction materials used in the new showroom, including hemp concrete, recycled leather, and natural cork and beech.
Furthermore, the new showroom will feature a digital installation made from 160 refurbished phones, measuring 2×1 meters, which is reportedly being used for the first time in service companies in Estonia.
“Since Viru Keskus is the most environmentally friendly shopping center in the Baltic states, having been awarded the LEED O&M certification, our environmentally conscious showroom fits perfectly there,” added Gerli Hämmal.
The Telia showroom at Viru Keskus will open its doors to visitors on November 7 at 3:00 PM on the first floor of Viru Keskus.
