Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur explored the jewelry of Kaitsetahe at Goldtime in Viru Keskus

At the beginning of the year, the message “Kaitsetahe” (Will of Defense) could be seen on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s sweatshirt, and now the message has conquered the special collection of the jewelry brand The Man. Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur visited Viru Keskus’ Goldtime to explore the stylish result.

The designs of The Man’s new “Kaitsetahe” (Will of Defense) collection are inspired by national defenders and adorned with the Estonian Defence Forces’ digital camouflage pattern. The collection was created in close collaboration with the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Will Development Department and is made for everyone who values freedom and homeland security.

Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur emphasized the significant contribution of companies to national defense and encouraged the demonstration of defence will: “I wish to thank all companies that contribute to supporting national defense – maintaining the salaries of reservists during exercises, but also contributing more broadly to national defense, for example, through the reservist fund or the sale of company products. Products with digital camouflage are an excellent way to highlight our people’s will to defend.”

Goldtime’s creator Indrek Peterson believes it is important to contribute to Estonia’s defense capability: “As an entrepreneur and a citizen, it is essential to value and contribute to the freedom we have been given. As President Lennart Meri has said: “We all together and each individually are responsible for our state.” Therefore, it is a great honor to collaborate with the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Will Development Department and contribute to the defense capability of our homeland through the creation of the “Kaitsetahe” (Will of Defense) jewelry collection.”

The “Defence Will” jewelry collection includes engravable textile and digital camouflage steel jewelry. The special knot bracelets made of khaki-green textile remind us that cooperation is the foundation of success. Accessories in digital camouflage black and silver steel signify that honor and self-belief are unyielding steel defenses. Engravable pendants and bracelets encourage showing one’s determination.

Goldtime will donate 15% of all sales from The Man’s “Kaitsetahe” (Will of Defense) collection to the Reservists’ Fund to support the national defense of the Republic of Estonia and to enhance the defence will of reservists. Additionally, a 10% discount applies to all national defenders upon presenting a document proving the completion of conscript service, an active service certificate, or a member card of the Estonian Defence League, available from the defence service portal kaitsevaeteenistus.ee.
