Premium fashion brand Marella delights customers with a special collection of Marella ART. 365, the brand’s iconic collection of basic items. The special collection was born in collaboration with an influential Italian designer. This autumn it offers even more timeless, feminine and sharp aesthetics.

This season Marella ART. 365 collaborates with a young Italian graphic designer Gio Pastori who has created graphic prints with pop-art touches that turn otherwise timeless styles into wearable pieces of art.

Gio Pastori is a young graphic designer from Milan. In 2017 he was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 30 most influential artists in Europe. He has studied graphic design and successfully uses a rich mix of various media in his artistic vision.

With the Marella ART. 365 collaborative collection the artist adds delicacy and strength to everyday life. He was inspired by the patterns of home textiles with clean and clear colours that combine into bold, but at the same time very wearable combinations with black and white — the main colours of the ART. 365 collection. Floral patterns transformed into graphic images have been transferred to clothing both in macro and micro versions, creating bold aesthetic solutions that look a bit like postage stamps or ancient matchboxes.

In collaboration with the Marella design team they have created a capsule collection of 16 styles, each with a notably fresh design that are at the same time very feminine and also easy to mix and match with the core collection.

Gio is more than an illustrator, he’s a creator of shapes and figures, specialized in papercut technique and animations. He slices, separates, stitches, assembles, pastes. The final result is always colourful, flashy and always eye-catching. The pop graphics of Gio Pastori turn the ART. 365 collection pieces into wearable works of art.
