Once again, the best service points, shopping environments and service persons in Viru Keskus were announced yesterday evening, on January 26, based on the last year’s results. Calvin Klein Jeans boutique was rated as the best service point, the title of the best shopping environment was awarded to Tele2, and Hanna Brigita Jaanovits of the Tommy Hilfiger shop was named the most outstanding service person 2019 in Viru Keskus.
“The awards given to the best in Viru Keskus on the last Sunday in January have become a much anticipated annual tradition that enables us to show our appreciation for the fine work done by our service personnel, and to recognize the shopping and service points that make consistent efforts to welcome visitors with modern shopping environments, cosy atmospheres and pleasant service. The winners are well-justified to be proud of themselves as the respectable titles are awarded as a result of varied assessments during the whole year,” said Gertti Kogermann, Viru Keskus CEO.
The title of the best service point is awarded by testing practical customer service skills and necessary theoretical knowledge. Calvin Klein Jeans shop was the best in 2019, followed here by Apotheka, and Yolo shop. The best shopping environment is determined on the basis of a combined rating by visitors and shopping environment experts. In 2019, the top three places in this category went correspondingly to Tele2, jewellery shop Grenardi, and clothes store Marc O’Polo.
The finalists of the best service person competition are selected on the basis of test purchases and theoretical test results, while the winners are determined in a final selling competition that lasts a whole day under the scrutiny of a jury and cameras, with the skills of the service persons seriously tested by selling goods that are different from their usual work, and in an unfamiliar shopping environment for them. In 2019, the best of the best in Viru Keskus were Hanna Brigita Jaanovits (Tommy Hilfiger, 1st place), Karis Lipp (Tommy Hilfiger, 2nd place) and Mariliis Pelberg (Premiere by Poldma, 3rd place).
