Rahva Raamat

Since its opening in 2004 the Rahva Raamat bookstore in Viru Keskus has grown into Estonia’s largest bookstore and a literary landmark that attracts book lovers from all around. In 2016 the store was voted one of the world's best bookstores at the London Book Fair and in 2021 the store entered a new era with a fresh and spacious upgrade.

Thanks to the renovation, Estonia's largest bookstore now covers the third floor of Viru Keskus. Book lovers will find kilometres of books, games, toys, films, CDs and vinyls in the spacious store. Rahva Raamat is renowed for its great gifts and at the Viru Keskus store we will wrap the gift for you all year round!

You'll be greeted by the cosy atmosphere of the bookstore and by the specialist staff who will always help you find just the right book and share their reading tips! As a cultural hub we welcome both the hurried gift-seeker and the leisurely stroller with events and book-signings.

While Rahva Raamat offers food for the soul, Literaat Café makes sure you’re nourished for your literary adventures. Before, after or while shopping for books, you can now comfortably lose yourself over a cup of coffee at this brand new café. Literaat Café is elegant, fast and awaits you from breakfast all the way to evening drinks. With Rahva Raamat we complement each other like a good book and a cup of hot coffee!
